Dear Mommy Steffy,
I just wanted to say hello and see how you're doing. Mommy & I think of you so often, thank you for helping us find each other. I'm such a big boy, no more indoor potty mistakes and everyday I learn something new. I had my rabies & the last of my shots I weigh 8.5 pounds. Mommy thought I was overweight but they say no, I'm just right. And I'm tall too, whatever is left on the coffee tables and chairs, belongs to me since I'm quite the jumper ! I walk 3 times a day and Mommy has lost 22 pounds since she brought me home ! She even met a nice guy while we were at the park and they are dating now. The best part is he always brings me a treat when he comes to visit, so I love this dating thing !

Below is a picture of me in my new harness, it's time to go to the park .

Love always,

Deuce

P.S. Mommy says that my coat is beautiful. It's black on top and brown underneath and it almost makes me look chocolate (remember mommy wanted a chocolate at first). God is so amazing !

Hi Steffy! I just wanted to send you some pics and give you an update on Josie Lou's progress. She's doing wonderful. =) Not even 5 months old and potty trained. She goes right to the door...now if only I could teach her to whine a little in case i'm in a different room. Lol. She's very spunky and has so much energy. She just cracks us up! But she can also be very laid back - she knows when it's time to let mom and dad relax some. She's been sleeping in our bed with us for over a week now and she'll sleep for like 7 hours straight. She is definitely grandma's girl - my mom is just obsessed with her 'grandchild'. Haha! Josie goes everywhere with me, she has become quite the car-dog and loves to sit on my lap. She's up to date on all her shots and healthy as can be - weighing in at 5.7 lbs at her last vet visit...which was Oct. 2nd.

Hope all is well!! And thanks again for our baby - we love her so much!

Hi Steffy,
It has been quite a while, I know, but I thought I would send you an update on my little guy Cooper. He is most certainly the best little joy that has come into our lives. I waited 41 years to get a dog and I made the right choice in getting my little Coop. He brings many smiles to our face every day. I must say he is the king of the castle and knows it. He gets plenty of belly rubs and has established his spot in our bed. His personality is just amazing. I miss the little bugger when I am away for any length of time.

I am sure I will most likely come back for a sibling for Cooper. I check your website frequently to see who is looking for a home. I hope all is well with you. Cooper is doing awesome.

hello steffy!

I just want to give you an update on Winston.... He just turned 3 on October 4th and is doing as well as ever. Every year he is more and more of a joy. I recently took him to Europe with me this past August and he was a model travel companion. He took the flight very well and adjusted perfectly as soon as we arrived to the time and climate. He had a wonderful time going everywhere with mommy as in Europe dogs can accompany you everywhere. At dinner every night he had his own chair at the table! It was so much fun being able to have him with me even on vacation!

He has rounded out to a nice 10lbs and continues to take his NuVet daily. He is extremely healthy and active everyday. But my favorite times are in the morning when he first wakes up because he is such a snuggle bunny! I've enclosed the most recent pictures of him after his monthly haircut some from his vacation plus his halloween costume(a turtle)! Hope all is well with you and I am always recommending you! Who knows.....I still take a peek from time to time.....Maybe Winston needs a sibling! ;) CIAO!

Hi Stefanie!
We went to the vet today for vaccinations, and I realized I never sent you the vet report from the last visit right after we came home. So please see attached. We have another set of shots in 3 weeks, then the rabies 2 weeks later. He LOVES the vets office! He gets so much attention from all the ladies that work there - they actually come from all over the clinic just to see him and pet him and talk to him. It's so funny! They all think he's the most adorable puppy they have ever seen - well of course - HE IS!!! And they have YUMMY dried liver treats there - they gave him a treat to eat while they gave him the shots and he didn't even notice what they were doing! The vet says he's very healthy and doing great. He's gained a little over a half pound since our last visit...4.2 pounds today.

We re-named our fur baby "Koda" after the little bear in Disney's "Brother Bear" because he looks like a little teddy bear Marissa couldn't make the "ch" sound very well, so we decided Choo Choo had to be a middle name. Everybody in the family made a list of their 3 favorite names, then we chose from that list and tried out our favorites with Marissa to see if she could pronounce them. Koda came out on top! He is SOOOOO SWEET Stefanie - You did an AWESOME job choosing a puppy for our special family. It just melts my heart to see my kids with him. He loves them both, and gets so excited when they come home from school. Justin can barely set his backpack down fast enough to pick up Koda, pet him, and tell him about his day (he always asks how Koda's day went too, as if he could answer!). And Marissa always smiles at him, and giggles when he comes trotting up to her to get some love and play. And she's so gentle with him, it's amazing. Normally she's a rough little girl, but she pets him so soft. This morning was so cute - Marissa HATES to get up in the morning (which I think she inherited from her Mommy!), and it takes me a few minutes to coax her awake and up. So I'm sitting on the edge of her bed rubbing her back and tickling her awake, and for the first time Koda managed to jump up onto her bed (she has a low bed). He ran right up to her head, laid on her neck and started licking her face! Marissa just started giggling and petting him. I hope every morning can start with smiles like that!

I wish I had a camera and video camera in my eyes so I could just think "switch on" every time he's doing something cute. But he's so fast I can't get very good pictures. I don't know how you did it!

He's doing much better with potty training too. It's very rare for him to have a 'poo' accident anymore, and even his 'pee' accidents are less and less. The look on his face is hilarious when he does it right - as soon as he's done he comes racing over to me, sits down and gives me this look like, "see what I did? I'm a good boy! Now I get my treat!!!!!" I'm so glad I get to be home with him all the time.

Bailey is doing great she is such a sweet heart and an amazing puppy. 7 months she is so smart and playfull and fully potty trained. She listens and plays hard and sleeps in her own bed with no problem. She has been to class and were going back to the next level of training and tricks! She can almost roll over fully on command but it takes some work (work meaning me pushing her over afte she rolls on her back LOL) she's 5.8lbs an hadn't really grown much since she hit 6 months. Bailey is amazing with other dogs and babies, sometimes she gets scared with big dog at first and people who run to her too fast but after a good hand sniff she's playing and running to them! Thankyou again for this perfect angel I love her so much and I know she loves me back!

p.s. I traveled with her on a 5 hr flight back to Cali and I had her in a puppy bag under the seat infront of me and no one knew there was a dog on board because she was so quiet and sweet she just slept and looked up at me from time to time to make sure I was ok. When she doesn't see me sometimes she gets a little scared.

Hey Steffy,

I'm sitting here having my coffee watching Deuce wrestle with his toy. It's hard to imagine how much my life has changed in the last 3 months. I say the last 3 because although I've only had my baby a little less than 2 weeks, my bond with both of you started way before then.  It's amazing that the Shorkie was not the breed I was originally looking for, but after speaking with you and spending countless hours on your website I knew this was meant to be. From the very beginning you were patient and understanding, answering all my questions to help me choose the perfect baby for me. Being a person with MS makes daily life a challenge and you were sensitive to the fact that I needed a baby that fit into my world. Talking with you felt like chatting with a girlfriend, I even got counseling, venting & crying sessions, and some good laughs, you breed way more than Shorkies !

Those first couple days had me stressed but you were always there for Deuce & I and we love you so much. We went to the Vet yesterday and she is thrilled with him ! He's coming into his self now, and I can see his personality shining through. He already learned to sit, and we are going to start the leash today. I will keep you posted and send more pictures soon but I did want to send one just so you could see him, that's below.

Purchasing from someone over the internet can be very scary but you made the adoption worry free. The updated pictures of the babies were fun to watch on your website.
I found myself watching all the babies grow, not just mine.   Thank you for your honesty and integrity and for my beautiful baby Deuce.

Be Blessed,

Edwine

Hi Stefanie!

I just wanted to give you a little update on Moose.  He is fantastic....and that is an understatement.  He is hands down, the best dog ever.  I look at him and thank my lucky stars that we found you ....what a lucky break for us.  I cannot imagine my life without one of YOUR shorkies ever again.

He is so funny and just so fantastic.

He loves playing with the other dogs and is such a happy go lucky guy.  When he really gets going playing with his toys he sounds like a cat purring!  It's the funniest thing!!

We took him to the lake yesterday and he had no problems with anything....he's just the easiest little boy!  One thing I love about him is that he is so quiet!  Not at all yippy.

He's quieter than our other two dogs.

And I love the way he smells.....it's not really a smell at all but if I bury my face in his fur I can catch a little hint of sweetness.

So, thankyou very much, he's just an angel.

Sending along some pictures so you can see him in his new home.

I hope you don't ever stop raising these precious pups.....

Love,

Susan

Say Hello to Moose!!!!

Hi Stefanie,
Well, I just don't have the words to encompass just how much I love this dog. He is the most precious, perfect sweetheart. I have never fallen this hard for one of my pups....he's just so amazing!!
He goes so well on his paper!! It makes such a difference! I remember crying in the mornings when Dixie was a puppy because she would poop in her crate and manage to smear it everywhere.....every morning was such an ordeal. It's amazing I've ever gotten another dog after how bad she was!
And he isn't yippy at all. When my other dogs start barking he just sits there calmly looking at them. It's amazing!
He is so obviously VERY well socialized........it's such a big deal. I don't think first time dog owners can really appreciate what a difference it makes but I sure can and DO......so let me just say a resounding, THANKYOU!!!!
He seems like a natural born heeler, when I put him on his baby leash to go out to potty he stays right at my side....is his neck going to be too fragile for a regular leash/collar deal? Does he need a harness?
He's so funny. Everytime I would take him outside to go potty, he would just sit on my feet and look up at me....like he's thinking "okay, I'm game, now what?"
But when my eleven year old daughter took him out yesterday, whammo! He peed! And he pooped outside last night! He's peed pretty regularly outside today. He does better for her. When I take him out he likes to sit on my feet.
Totally and completely in love,
will send some photos soon.
Now I know why you have repeat customers.
xoxo
Susan

Dear Steffy

This is from the Ellis family. I know, it has taken a LONG time. More will be coming,
including pictures of the entire family. These are pictures of your Molly, our Ellie., taken
within the last week.

She is the "glue" of our family now. I do not know what we would do without her.
She is PRICELESS.

Ellie is very happy and well adjusted. She has 3 dog friends that live next door. She is
part of a pack. The dogs are two dachshunds, and a dachshund/chiwowa mix. Life
is good for her, and our life is far better having her as part of ours.

Hope you enjoy the little picture video that my 12 YO Alexa put together.

Hi Steffy,

I’m so sorry I haven’t written until now.  I can’t tell you how happy this little bundle of joy (Itsy Bitsy) now named “Martini” has made all of us.  She has been a little angel!  We just love her beyond words!

Everywhere we go she is the center of attention!  It’s amazing how many people come up and ask me about her.

She has been the best thing that has happened to me since giving birth to my kids.  She is my little furbaby, that’s for sure!

I am enclosing some pics of her that hopefully you can put on your website.  They are from present to the past.  My gosh, she has changed so much!  I absolutely love the color of her coat!

She is happy, healthy, bouncy and up to 3 lbs.

Thank you so much for everything!

All the best!

Subject: Letter of Recommendation for Priceless Pups

Steffy,

I would like to take some time to say thanks and to give you a recommendation for anyone looking for a Shorkie.

In November of 2008 I began to look for a puppy for my small girls to be given as a Christmas present. I work overseas in the Middle East in support of the Global War on Terrorism. The reason that I was looking to get them a puppy was to keep them busy during the times that I was gone, which is on average 10 months out of the year. Another great thing about it was that it would have them start to learn "responsibility" (OK, that's just the dad in me....).

During the entire adoption / purchase process Steffy had been nothing but wonderful and informative. I almost felt bad because she was trying to answer questions from me out in Iraq, from my wife in California, raise the puppies, deal with her other customers, run her family, etc. There were a few times that I had called Steffy in the middle of the night because it was the only time I could get to a phone out in Iraq. Again, she had been nothing but wonderful, always sending us new pictures, videos, etc.

A few days before Christmas we went to Ontario airport in California to pick up Rascal. I had brought my girls with me and there was another family there to pick up Rascal's brother. When Steffy had told me that all the Shorkie owners are like a family I didn't believe it, but meeting Lynette and family I understood.

Well, Rascal is all grown up now (at least I hope, he just clocked in at 11 pounds at his checkup lol). He has been WONDERFUL with the kids and such a blessing. Him and our girls (5 and almost 3) are inseparable, especially our youngest. They are all the best of friends. He gets along great with everyone and is full of energy, but still will curl up next to you on the couch anytime that you let him. He is so smart too, never needing any major training, just basic house training was fine. He has never tried to run off or anything and is a pretty good guard dog, always barking to alert you if something seems wrong.

I had never seen myself getting a smaller puppy but am glad that I did. In the end it is not like even having a puppy, it is like he is our son and we can not imagine life without him now.

Thanks to Priceless Pups for making our family complete!

Semper Fidelis,
Robert Steele

Throughout this process you have been nothing but accommodating to me while i waited for my little gift to arrive. Its day one and she's already using her potty correctly and has had no accidents....yet....Everyone who has seen her loves her and she shows them equal amounts of puppy love. Steffy,
Dixie is a joy!    She is so smart and funny, and snuggly, especially at night!  When I talk to her, she cocks her head sideways like she's trying to figure out what I'm saying--it's the cutest thing!  She weighed in at just over 5 lbs at her vet check.  We've now had her for one week and are amazed at all of the things she has already figured out.  She knows her name, "outside", "come", "get busy" and "let's go" already!   Potty training has been going really well since we got rid of the pee pee pads--only used them for two days before we realized that it would be faster training process without them.  Crate training has been amazing--on her third night (first night with crate door shut)  she slept (quietly!) in the crate for 7.5 hours--NO ACCIDENTS!  When she needs to go out in the middle of the night, which has only happened once, she just whimpers softly and gets to her business right away once outside!  She goes with me to take the kids to school, and rests in her crate in my husband's office while I'm out of the house--only needs to be told once or twice not to bark and she settles down nicely.

She and my golden retriever Gracie are getting along well--lots of playing and tussling around with toys.  She's also good with the kids--she's so engaging that they have been participating in her care a lot more than I expected!

I wanted to let you know again how much I appreciated all the time you spent with me during the process of adopting Dixie.  I was very nervous about the idea of working with someone I had never met, and selecting a puppy I had never seen in person before she arrived. Dixie's personality meshes with our family perfectly, and I know her brother Cooper down the road is fitting in just as well with his new family--again a good personality match!  Cooper and Dixie had their first play date a few days ago and it was a grand reunion!

I also want to thank you for helping me through the first few days with Dixie's upset tummy.  It was so reassuring that you were following up on her health and offering suggestions. She has had a settled stomach for several days now and is eating like a champ!

Thanks again for everything--we are so happy to have worked with you to get our adorable pup to her new home in NC safely!

Attached are a few pics of Dixie and her new family......

Take care!!

Sorry this has taken so long to send you.  We are so happy with Harley (aka Adam).  He is 7 mos. old and is the most amazing dog.  He is so loveable and really smart.  He gets along great with our cat.  The attached picture was taken on 1/2/09 with my kids, Danielle and Max.  We are really enjoying him.  We know he is such a good dog because of all the love and attention he received from you before we got him.  He has been able to play with Gracie who also came from you.  Everyone who meets Harley just falls in love with him!

Please keep us posted if you have another litter of puppies from the same parents as Harley.  Thank you for Harley!

This is Meredith....CONGO'S mommy and i just wanted to thank you so much for giving me such a perfect baby and for all the hard work you did to get him to me in such great condition!  I am so thankful that you rushed him on an earlier flight before the snow storm headed your way because I got to bond with my baby before going back to school:)  The medicine you over nighted to me for his cough cleared him right up like you said after the vet told me he didnt need it, but it did not go away until i gave him the medicine you sent....you sure do know your shorkies!! I cannot explain to you how well behaved he is and how well he has adjusted.  He came right out of his cage happy and full of kisses the first time I met him and has yet to change!  He is perfectly healthy, soft as velvet, and almost potty trained after the first 2-3 weeks of being here!!  I love Congo so much and so does everyone that meets him.  I am not a "morning" person but now I am up at 6 am because i cant wait to hug my baby!! I am so happy and so is my little shadow Congo.  He follows me everywhere and goes with me everywhere...even shopping! We both have separation anxiety! I start school next week so he will have to be on his own for a few hours, but I think I will be okay:)  Again, thank you for being the best at what you do.  I have never seen or felt such a beautiful bundle of fur! He is PRICELESS! I will keep sending you updated pics and Congo says he loves you! Love, Mere and Congo

Hello Steffy,

Yeah...it's a new year!  I'm happy about that, hope you are too.  Did you have a nice Christmas?  We were just reminiscing about our last Christmas and the wonderful gift we received.  (Spike)  Can't hardly believe we've had Spike and whole year!  Bruiser will be turning two in a few weeks!  They are just the best of buds.  While the first few months were busy, I don't regret having 2 for a second.  There's always someone next to me and someone on my lap...sometimes they have to duke it out for where they get to sit.  They tolerate the cold and snow just fine and my boys love them to pieces.

I just wanted to send a few pictures, say hi, and see how you're doing???

Letter From Skippers Mom

Hi Steffy,

we think our little guy’s name is Skipper (I’m not a fan of that name, so I’m still holding out for something else). In the meantime, we have all sorts of cute, adoring names we call him. He is wonderful – so unbelievably cute and friendly, and very spunky! He is a crack up with our big labradoodle – he loves to jump up and try to grab Boomer’s tail, and they have a great time wrestling together. My initial fears were unwarranted, and Boomer seems to know intuitively how to control is vastly bigger size. “Skipper” does great in his crate at night, he’s a good eater, and very healthy. We are having so much fun with him. I’m attaching a picture I took today. I will send more as he gets bigger (right now he’s just over 2lbs).

Thanks for everything!
Elizabeth

Hiya Steffy,

I saw that William had sent you a message, so i thought i would send one myself just to personally thank you. You must be one amazing woman to raise such wonderful pups. Griffy, now known as Maximus Griffin Smith, is the sweetest, cutest, sneaky, loving, cuddling little dude ever !!!! All the way to the airport my nerves were on edge, i was scared he would be so frightened, but he seemed fine once we got him. Max was just a little shaky, so i wrapped him in the blanky i bought for him and i just held him close and i just softly talked to him until he stopped shaking. The past couple weeks with this baby have just been the sweetest. He is the first thing i look for when i get home from work at night. And there he will be, in his play pen just waiting. He truly is a sweety. I cant thank you enough !!! Our daughters , as well as our Pitt Patches just love him. Right now as i type this to you, i have Max in my lap, he's sleeping. Its like having a new baby, well without the nursing and crying....haha Anyways, thank you once again. You are going to bring amazing joy into so many lives with your priceless pups. Take Care and we will talk to you soon,

Hi Steffy,

Here are the pictures of Wes I promised a few weeks ago. Sorry it took so long to get them to you. He is so much fun to have around. Not a day goes by that he doesn't make us laugh with something he has done. Today he ended up in my daughter's wastebasket head first with just his hind legs sticking out the top. I guess he was checking out what she had in there. He uses the pee pads pretty well although he likes the edge and doesn't realize that sometimes he isn't on it far enough. He also thinks it's great fun to grab the edge in his mouth and run across the room with it. He goes back to the vet on Friday for his next round of shots. I'm sure he'll do just fine.

Hope all is well with you! Hope you like the pics.

Steffy,

Sorry it's taken me this long to write to you! With all the holidays it was a little hectic, but thank goodness it's slowd down since then! :) The kids were absolutely thrilled about our new little baby. We had him waiting out by the Christmas tree when they woke up, and they didn't think he was theirs. They asked us if it was our friends dog. When we told them he was ours, they were soooo excited. My son and daughter both to this day have said he is the best Christmas present either one of them has ever had. He is the sweetest little guy. He loves to play with us, and loves to cuddle. He barks only when we're playing, when he tries to act tough. It's so cute!! We couldn't have asked for a better puppy for our family. Thank you so much for everything. You really made it a very comfortable process, and I really appreciate your accomidating when we wanted to pick him up. Best wishes to you and your family, and the new babies to come! Happy New Year!

Hey Stef

Happy New Year! I wanted to send you some updated photos of Maggie Mae. She is almost 15 months now and has passed all her obedience classes, including Canine Good Citizen. I think Maggie wants to be a therapy dog, or at least spend some of her time giving back to the community. I love her more each day; not quite sure how it's possible, but I do! She's amazing and the best addition to my life and I thank you again (for the millionth time) for breeding such dollbabies. We will be looking to get Mag a little brother or sister in the next year hopefully. Here are some pics of summertime, her 1st birthday party, Halloween, and Christmas! Enjoy and take care!

Steffy,

Happy New Year!!!   Hope all is well with you.

Just wanted to thank you for blessing us with such a special dog.  It's hard to believe Dino will be a year old this month.

Dino is really something special.  He has such a personality.  He is so smart that he let's you know when he wants to play, when he is ready for his walk, he even let's you know if you are late with his food or late getting up. Also he is the best watch dog. Sometimes we think he has bionic hearing.  Dave has spoiled him rotten. Just think Dave wanted a German Sheppard.  I think Dino has over 30 toys now, not to mention the ones that Dave has made him.  Attached are some recent photos.

God Bless

Steffy,

Hi!! I'm so sorry, I sent you an email the other day, but my computer had a virus, and a lot of stuff didn't get sent apparently. Bella is AMAZING!!! I love her so much, i can't even tell you! She is absolutely the cutest, most cuddly, sweetest, best dog I have ever seen!!! I have enclosed some pics for you to see her here. She loves the store, she has a little pink pillow bed under my desk that she goes to when she is tired, she's amazing. The other dogs are coming around, tiki, my yorkie, is starting to play with her now, the other two are just scared of her! She is crying going to bed at night, but I am keeping her in the crate. Eventually she goes to sleep! She wakes up once a night, so I go in and check on her to make sure she hasn't pee'd in her crate, let her potty, and then put he back. She cries, but goes to sleep in a bit. I'm tired!! I could not be happier with her!! Thank you so much for everything, I will keep in touch with you. I have given out your website to many people who come into the store, so don't be surprised if you get a few calls!

I'll talk to you soon!! love, b

Update on Buster!!! Look at this Doll Baby!!

DCarterFSU@aol.com

Hi Steffy,
Our first writing didn't give you the justice and recommendation you deserve. I have attached three pictures of our awesome little man Buster (formerly Tex). He is four months old and already four pounds. He is the smartest puppy we have ever seen and has adjusted well to every experience. He goes everywhere with us and is very socially adjusted. Last night he met his first eighty pound plus dog and was not intimidated in the least. We can't take him anywhere without being showered with attention and everyone talking about how handsome he is. As you know we lost our llaso apso Bo Bo shortly before contacting you to adopt Buster. Buster will obviously never replace Bo Bo but has filled and empty space in our homes and captured all of our hearts. We want everyone to know how thorough, helpful, and sincere the whole process of picking him out, shipping him to us, including medicine and vitamins in his shipping crate, and even the follow up once we got him home was. We would highly recommend your puppies to any home and my husband is having a hard time staying off your site browsing for a girlfriend for Buster. Please keep up the great work we will do our best to keep extending the family.

Dear Steffy,

Hello how are you doing? Here are the pics of Waggs and Domino they are the purfect match for me and my family!!!! I don't know how you do it ,but you have a gift!!!! They are so well behaved and they are litterboxed trained too! Now they like going in my cats litterbox when they are lazy to go to their's. Hey I'm not complaining, I'm just telling you how smart they are. In my opion I think they are smarter than a poodle!!!! I just gave them a little hair cut and a bath . I cut their butts out so they look more like a lion, I left more hair on their bodies this time, I'm getting better at this clipping them the way I want to see them. I hope you enjoy the pics, and I hope I'm not bothering you to much. My husband said to me she doesn't care what they look like, and leave her alone! I told him she isn't like most breeders, she does C A R E !!! You are the BEST BREEDER that I have ever met!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your Angels are that and more!!!!!!!!!Waggs and Domino both love me!!! and my family!! I can't THANK YOU ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You will never know how much you have BLESSED ME!!!!!!! Your friend , Brenda EStep

Boogie

"Barbie" <barbiestricklin@comcast.net>

Hi Steffy,

OMIGOSH! OMIGOSH! We love our puppy!!!! How can anything so little and so young have such a huge personality!! I know everyone says their puppy is the cutest, but they are mistaken, because we have the cutest one!!!!!! My husband who people have said “is not a dog person” is “IN LOVE”! I think the puppy has ripped his heart out! My husband, who is very maternal, is so sweet with him. The minute he hears Bruce’s voice, he starts wagging his tail and runs to him! We have had “Boogie” (formerly known as “Twix”) for just 9 days, and it seems like he has been with us for a lot longer, because he has settled in so well and gotten quite comfortable in his new surroundings. At first, he was very tentative; he wouldn’t venture more than a step or two. We have a pretty large, very open house, so I think it overwhelmed him. But now he runs around everywhere. He especially loves my husbands study! He LOVES to play and he just cracks us up! When Boogie wants to play, he wants to play, and then he will just conk out. When we first got him, he would not lay on his back-now he just falls asleep on his back amidst all the ruckus going on around him. The very 1st day, we put him on the pee pee pads and said “go potty” and he did!! We continue to do that and that is where he goes!!! I used to tell my little boy that he could get a dog when he found one that did not poop or pee! Ha! Ha! My little boy says “Mom, this is the next best thing—because Boogie is so smart, he poops and pees where you tell him!” My sister called him “The Stepford Dog” and I said “What’s that mean?” She said” It means, it is like he is not real-he is the perfect dog!” He is the happiest little dog! Thank you so much! We did not know what we were missing! Here are a few pictures—Sorry so many-I could not decide—you are lucky this is all I am sending! Thank you so very much for breeding such super dogs! Love and puppy kisses(lots of them), Barbie, Bruce, Bradford and Barrett PSSSSS!!!!!!! Stef, As u can see I wrote that letter late, late last night. I forgot to also tell you Thank you for making the process so easy. Before you, as you know, I had been in contact with so called “breeders” which I found out were not “breeders”—they were kennels, or puppy mills. Thanks for educating me and all the great info you gave me. I wish everyone did business like you! Boogie is right at my feet wanting to play—he is sooooo sweet, smart and such a good boy!!!

Please as this to my previous letter!
Love, Barbie

Hello Stephaine & Family:

Hello Stephaine & Family: Sorry it has taken so long to update you on Nicco but with Thanksgiving and the upcoming Holiday it's been hectic!!. Nicco is such a sweet little boy he has adjusted extremely well to life In New York. :>) When he first came home on 11/16 it was a little bit rough- his flight was delayed and it was very cold here. He was shaken up quite a bit I guess from all the traveling. As soon as we took him out the crate we wrapped him in a blanket and gave him some nutrical and we proceeded to give him some treats in which at first he wouldn't eat, but after awhile he dove head first into the baggie. He made quite a mess in the cargo area His first night home he stayed in my room (we didn't get any sleep that night) he wanted to play with his new toys and explore his surroundings. He has so much energy -- we can hardly keep up with him. He had a vet appt the next day and everything went superb. The Vet just kept on saying how handsome he was and how he was in such great condition. Nicco sleeps in my room on weekdays behind my bedroom door on his blankie but sleeps in his playpen in my daughter's room on weekends and his favorite TV show is Spongebob Squarepants. *lol* Stephanie you are the best at what you do. We thank you for everything and for making this entire process run so smoothly and I especially thank you for putting up with my numerous

emails/questions/concerns.
Happy Holidays!! xoxoxoxo Yvette, Lennox, Katlyn & Nicco

Update On Kyson

"Nikki Tao" <taonk@yahoo.com>

Hi Steffy,

Greetings-woof woof woof!!! Wishing u all a happy holiday season. Kyson is now 10mos.,still as adorable and lovable as ever. He is doing well and spoiled as ever. He is such a people puppy, not so much w/ other animals-he won't even give them a look, I really think that he thinks he's human. I still don't like his eating habits, he's still VERY PICKY!!! He gets the best of all natural dog food (Merrick's grandma's chicken pot pie)and he still won't eat it, unless I mix some other stuff like scramble eggs, hardboiled eggs, vegetables or Costco roast chicken. It has to be something new everyday, he would sniff to make sure it's not the same thing. I think he is just too smart-the little stinker. I tried not to spoil him like that, but he would rather starve, which he has for 2 days and he would rather throw up acid than eat. He's now gotten me to hand feed him since I just give him his dog food w/o mixing other stuff except on special occasions. I know I shouldn't hand feed him, but I can't let him starve! Even treats has to be broken up in little pieces or he rather not take it. Having him is just the same as taking care of a baby, but it's so worth it. He shows so much love and gratitude in return. He is such a mama's boy, I didn't think that dogs could have separation anxiety. Attached are a few pics of him in his santa coat and with his antlers. He's got the most adorable face:) Have a Happy New Year!

Take care,
Nikki and family

Steffy—

I know Barbie will write you all the great details, but I did not want you to wonder and more time to pass to tell you that TWIX, now known as Boogie, has become the 5th member of our family. Everyone has fallen in love with him and he is growing daily. It is amazing how he has gone from day one a scared puppy arriving on a long, scary commercial flight to a playful puppy that brings us so much joy. We love his coloring and his personality and everything about him. Both our boys love him and our youngest (3rd grade) says Santa brought him the perfect puppy. No exaggeration, he only goes to the bathroom on housebreaking pads! He is dry and clean in the morning and will go #1 and/or #2 just about anytime you put him on the pad. I guess you raise only the “smartest” puppies. I know Barbie will write you soon…we have hunkered down over the holidays and have mostly just had family time not having to do anything we didn’t want to (aka “taking it easy for a change”).

Thanks again.
Bruce
Ps. If the Christmas morning puppy video is good I will give you a copy as you requested. Also, I will send you a copy of the vet exam that you require. Thanks!!!!!!!!
